PSTORE INIT what does this mean?

The battery ran out went to recharge it rebots and stays on the NEVO screen and at the top it say PSTORE INIT.

I have turned it on and off with no change.

From the on-screen message, I've always assumed that the Nevo performs a power on built in test (PBIT) when you switch it on. You should let it complete this (there's a red bar along the bottom of the screen indicating PBIT progress).

the red bar is totaly across the screen, and has been for a day. If what you say is true how long should this take?

Not that long!!!

I've seen posts in the past regarding the Nevo locking up when the battery is allowed to run flat. You could search the forum for these posts, they might help.

You could try re-loading the firmware, to see if that makes any difference.

I saw this only in the first version! Which version of Nevo do you have on the device? I had to upgrade using the USB upgrade method and it went away.

I was told by the NevoSL support guys that the only way to 'fix' the PSTORE problem is to re-downooad the firmware into the SL.
