I'm very undereducated wrt the Nevo SL remote. I want to know if the protocol is open or closed... in that will the remote will only talk to the Nevo Link and other Nevo software services hosted on a computer, or if one could write their own applications to work with the Nevo remote. For example, could I open a raw TCP socket to the remote, parsing the remote's button presses / activities, to be passed onto a custom application that can then communicate back to the Nevo SL?
