Dave... when it comes to Nevo... think Moby Dick.
It was more a curriousity if they got something to work that whould have worked before. As I pointed out before, some people don't like adding software to there computers. Som einstallers don't like adding software to customers computers.
So if Nevo could work directly with MCE then I think that would be an improvment.
If I were not in FL this week I would have gone to the training.
Its our job to provide working solutions... to do that you have to be looking at what is out there. IF UEI could get there act together it would work well with some of the installs we do. I would be remiss if I didn't look into it.
BUT and that is the Big BUTT... considering all there antics... I wonder if the have a clue or care what we need.

i found it, you have to click Knowledge Base then click one of the NEW! items in nevo studio then on the left side you will see NEW! NevoStudio 2.0

this install has gone horrible for me. after clicking checksetup i an error pops up unable to launch nevosoftwaresetupwizard.exe so i launched it myself then went threw everything and got to the screen calibration and a new hardware found screen pops up and it can't connect the nevo sl to the computer again. im going to do a system restore and get my nevo studio back to normal.

I had installed Nevostudio 2.0 after uninstalling the last version,
Checksetup app popped an error on my screen,
nevosoftwaresetupwizard worked fine,
The program is working good with some nice adding's like converting PCF,CCF pronto files to .nvo files,
CCF conversion will include the learned IR action jumps and bitmaps,
PCF conversion will include jumps and bitmaps but no IR actions so ever,
It seems that the Bitmaps conversion is not perfect either, some buttons will be erased
But I think that it's a very useful tool especially because you can use all the downloaded pronto files for graphics .
The Nevostudio 2.0 also includes new firmware release for the Nevo sl
Some more feathers as UEI explains:

i dont think this software is finalized yet or something. i read the directions before downloading and now i can't use the remote.
i now have to find batteries for all my dam remotes. someone yell at the nevo people because im just a end user.
they have removed the 2.0 update from the site do not install this update!

Make sure you have Microsoft Activsynch v 4.1 Available from Microsoft, no charge.
And for the moment, make sure you plug directly into the PC USB, not a hub or other USB hub-type devices.
