hi guys wonder if you can help. I`m concerned to whether the following is possible.
currently own a pansonic TH37pv500 and want to use teh nevo on this to control my arcam am and dvd player however i was wondering if setting the right channel will be a problem.
The dvd is on HDMI to the TV and the xbox 360 is on component. Currently the only way to get to these channels on the tv remote is by going AV and then cycling through either component or hdmi with the same yellow button. when programing the nevo can you specify exactly hdmi or component or would it just have to be the same button to cycle through each menu.
If this is the case its not gonna be quite as sweet as i hoped.

What you are looking for is a discrete code for your TV's inputs. You'd have to search this website and others to see if you can find a discrete code. If the manufacturer has not created a discrete for these inputs then it canot be done no mattter what kind of remote you have.
You can, however, set up a macro so that the Nevo works as if a discrete existed. You just have to figure out how to do it. Not knowing your equipment, what I would do first is tune the TV to either input (HDMI or DVI) then hit channel up or down...does it go back to tuner? If so then you can create a macro that behaves similarly to the discretes that you don't have.
The problem with haveing to cycle through inputs to get to where you are going is that while it may take 3 button presses to cyle from tuner to HDMI, you might be trying to get to HDMi from component, which will likely take less button presses. Being able to change to tuner from any input by using the channel up/down gives you an advantage of knowing how many button presses to go through regardless of what you were just watching (TV or DVD). A macro in this scenario would look something like this:
1. Channel up
2. Input
2. Input (for component)
and
1. Channel up
2. Input
3. Input
4. Input (for HDMI)
