Yes. Unlike the Pronto sereis which "pre-dedicates" 1 or 2 of the buttons for certain functions. The 4 buttons below the screen of the NevoSL are fully programmable, giving you more "precious buttons space" under your own control. You can even give the buttons different functions depending on the device you are controlling (i.e., when on DVD they can be Menu, Subtitles, etc but when you switch over to TV they change function to PIP, Aspect ratio, etc.)

It's a great feature that furthers the flexibility of the Nevo over competitors like Pronto.

Ooo, just noticed another question, is there two versions? European and US? if so what are the differences?

You can give them any function you like. The only difference between US and EU versions may be the power supply.

yup as said, any function you like, and different functions for each page! you of course have to enable the ability to program them in the bottom left hand corner of NS.

I think that I will program one of those 4 buttons to always take me back to my home page.

Yeah but my fingers are always in the position to hit one of those 4 much easier than reaching to that one.

yeah they could have done the side buttons better, even if they protruded out a little more... i'm left handed so find the scroll wheel and backlite button a little awkward.
