I've just added a Nevo Video Sensor to my NC-50. I've added it as a device in Nevo Studio Pro and configured it to read the sensor from port 1. The sensor is plugged into port 1 on the NC-50 and the composite video port of the device it's sensing.
I've then updated my Nevo S70 configuration to use the IF...THEN...ELSE command to use the Video Sensor with the power on and power off buttons on the remote. For each button, I've placed an action after THEN, but after ELSE I've left it blank (as I do not want any action).
After downloading the configuration to my S70, the power buttons with the IF...THEN...ELSE now produce the "Troublesoot device:NevoConnect" screen which is only displayed when the NevoConnect cannot be found by the remote and gives the options "Find" and "Close". If I select "Find" it finds the NC-50 and continues as normal (but does not turn the device on or off) until I press one of the power buttons with the IF...THEN...ELSE command again. All other buttons on the remote work as normal. N.B. Before this time, the only occasion I have seen the "Troubleshoot device" screen since using my NC-50 is the very first time I pressed a button when I first used it. Since this time it's never been seen until now.
If I select "Close" at the "Troubleshoot device" screen, all other buttons on the S70 still operate OK without the need to find the NC-50 first.
Can anyone help?

is the firmware in the nevoconnect up to date? it is possible that the firmware version in the S70 and nevoconnect do not match and are causing issues.

I believe both the S70 and NC-50 are installed with the latest firmware, but will check exactly which versions they have and post another update.

Eboot version: 6.0.2.3 ROM version: 6.0.7.2 Nevo version: 3.0.0.562 Blaster version: 000A1130 Z-Wave version: 2.40
Still checking the NC-50.

I connected the NC-50 to my PC and selected the verify option in Nevo Studio Pro. It confirmed that the NC-50 is running the latest firmware (it doesn't show the version number).

in NSP go to the ecosystems tab. click on the blue arrow (last option) this will show the f/w numbers. (make sure the nc-50 is connected via usb)

you have the current firmware. i would try reloading the file to the remote, and press the reset button on the bottom of the nevoconnect. (the button by the IR adjustments, you will need a paperclip to reach it) also reset the zwave settings to factory default on the remote and run through the process to reconnect it to the nevoconnect. if that doesnt fix it, then email me your file (my email is in my profile)

A simple press will not reset the z-wave...
You need to pull the power press the reset re-power and continue to hold the reset for 10sec. NC-50 will flash.
The easier way is using NSP. In ecosystems select the second last icon (black triangles around a blue circle) and select factory reset.
Then re-set the remote settings advanced z-wave advanced factory reset.
then follow the instructions and re setup the z-wave network.

A simple press will not reset the z-wave... that is correct, but then again i didnt tell him to do a full reset of the zwave on the nevoconnect ;) i just told him to reset the unit itself. but a full reset is probably a better idea anyways.

I did the factory resets as described on both the NC-50 and the S70 and set-up the Z-Wave network again. It now works! Thank you for your help. I've wanted to be able to use discrete on and off commands on all my equipment for years ... now I can finally set-up complete "turn everything on" and "turn everything off" macros.
