I'm having a real problem with my NetX extender - every day my iPronto loses its connection to the NetX. Both are connected to my WLAN (I can ping them both), but the iPronto just doesn't see the NetX. I can see both the iPronto and NetX from iPronto Edit. The iPronto just can't seem to find the NetX. I have to turn both off and restart, then it works for a bit, then stops again.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Hi,
I have a pair of NETX's coming over from the States, so can't comment with any authority, but as it is intermittent, it could be interference.
There are a lot of devices on the same bandwidth. If you have a cordless telephone in the house try switching that off to see if things improve.
Can't really suggest anything else, as I've not received mine yet.
Cheers, Lee

Hi Muttley,
do you use dhcp or static IP addresses?
Try 2 things:
1) turn off encryption in you accesspoint, NetX, iPronto 2) use static IP addresses
If problem persists:
Leave a PC or notebook on power and use a ping "NetX-IP" with option -t to that device, e.g. ping 1.2.3.4 -t
Best regards,
Kalle Tr
