new member not sure where to put this. Have problems setting up URC-300. Have Echostar (Dish) 501 & 6000. Also Pioneer DVR-520H. Pre codes & learning don't work. Works fine for other Sony equipment. Thanks for any help.

I'm playing with a urc-300 I picked up on ebay $40, I have never had such problems trying to get this thing to learn commands. it takes about 10 to 15 attempts per command to get it learn. I love my mx-600's, but URC dropped ball on the URC-100, 200, & 300. I had the urc-200, sold that for $50 profit,it had the same problem. Still have urc-100 I got $5, light doesn't work.
