I have a new Sony KDF-60WF655 TV. I'd like to use its remote control to control my Philips DVDR80 player/recorder. The Sony TV owners manual has a list of 3-digit codes to program the remote control. For Philips DVD players there is only one code listed and it is 757. But after I program the TV remote with that code, the remote does not operate the Philips DVD player/recorder. How can I get the TV remote to operate the Philips DVD player/recorder? Thanks.
