I'm a remote control newbie. Other than my Yamaha learning remote I got with my Yamaha receiver a while back and some $9.99 universal remote my wife picked me up from the drug store one day when I told her I wanted a "universal remote" I have 0 experience. I've done some reading and I'm a quick study though.
Here's my questions.
What's a CCF file? What's it used for?
Are there programs to create your own CCF files or do you depend on downloading them from device manufacturers?
Any reading you can point out for a newbie? I've been reading these forums but it's confusing for someone new to the scene.
Thanks for the help!
