Can't get color from a Sony camera, but getting a solid black and white. The image runs 40 feet through RG59 into a quad splitter into a modulator through a 7.6 db splitter. Power to the camera runs with the RG59 (standard CATV cable), and is from a 24AC universal CATV transformer. The TV channel is 82, no channels either side.
Any suggestions on testing this or possible solutions.
TIA

It's a Sony Color camera, and, no, I'm not (yet) color blind. Thanks for the reminder to go to the basics first.
My guess is that there are too many splitters attenuating the signal, and I'll need to boost the signal. I'm new to video cameras, with most experience in audio. Any suggestions for amplifying a camera signal?
TIA

are you sure they are all in the same format? there is a place where I got a call twice because the image was B&W and what happened was someone changed the projector from NTSC to PAL.
