Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, but figured I'd give it a shot.
I have this VCR (model: mitsubishi HS-u69), for which I lost the remote. I really don't care so much about the remote, only inasmuch as there is one function I'd really want to do that I can't without the remote: change the VCR to "line-in" to allow things like the tv signal to go through it, etc. Ah, one feature, and no remote!
What to do? Is there an inexpensive solution? One site quoted the replacement remote for this VCR at 97.50!! I'd rather spend that on a new deck or yes, one of those fancy programmable remotes. But is there any other way? I'm fishing a bit I guess ... but any advice would be much appreciated.
