So I was watching Seinfeld on TV last night. He did this monologue before the show, and didn't really say anything. What's up with that?

So I was walking down the street the other day, and this lady comes walking by with her St. Bernard on a long leash. I saw this little keg under the the dog's chin, and as I walked by, I smiled and said, "Brandy?"

She said, "No, my name is Candy, don't you remember?"

Now, I don't think I had ever met her before, but I played along, and said, "Oh, of course! I just misspoke when I saw your beautiful dog with the brandy cask under his chin. Tell me, does your dog bite?"

"No, of course not." she said. So I went to pet the dog, and he bit me.

"Hey, I thought you said your dog doesn't bite!" I said. "Wait - I bet you're going to tell me that's not your dog, right?"

"No, it's my dog alright. You're just stupid enough to believe me. That's what you get for not calling me after you said you would."

Now I'm really confused, because I still didn't recognize her. "When was I supposed to call you?" I said.

"Right after we played tennis" she said.

"Now I remember. You're that gal that was suing me for sexual harrassment, but we decided to settle it out of court."

Has anyone noticed that Dirty Dave's ads for his new syndicated advice column are all slightly different in the text area? Seems he has a problem making up his mind. Poor guy. Maybe he needs a little help from his ghost writer.

Hope your arm feels better soon, patting one's self on the back is not only untoward, but can be painful as well.

Oh, and you better clean up those HTML 'Table' problems . . . . . I've heard that Mr. Tonks frowns on that sort of thing.
