I have a charter/spectrum universal remote OCAP-4 and the ok/select button will not work with my Samsung smart TV. All the other buttons work. I've tried looking for a code but cannot find the right one for my remote. Can anyone help me.

If you're using tv 10812 for Samsung, try the following:

1.tv
2. press and hold setup for two blinks
3. enter 9 9 4
4. tap setup for one blink
5. enter 00069
6. press ok/select key

I have a Samsung BluRay BD-JM51. I’m using code 20199 that I got from Charter and my ok/select function still doesn’t work. Any suggestions?

Any chance you have the code to release the LAST button too? 00069 works perfectly for select button.

Thanks to @edmund for the codes to make the select and last/previous buttons function when the Charter/Spectrum remote is in TV mode for a Samsung TV. Those saved me a lot of potential headaches. Is there a similar code available to get the Guide button to work when the remote is in TV mode as opposed to having to change the remote over to Cable mode to call the guide up? The remote being used is a 1060BC2/1060BC3.

Bear in mind, the 1060BC2/1060BC3 comes with the Channel Lock activated.
Deactivating it solved all my OK/Select button woes where I did not need to use the key move function (to solve it).

Thanks. I’ll double check but think that the remote has the Channel Lock deactivated as the ability to use the last/prev function as well as the ability to enter channel numbers directly when in TV mode. However, it doesn’t hurt to try it.

If you want the cable guide command in the tv device, try keymoving it:

1. cable
2. press and hold SET/SETUP for two blinks, release
3. enter 9 9 4
4. press GUIDE key
5. tap TV device
6. pick a key you want the guide command mapped to.

Thanks. I obviously wasn’t paying attention in the earlier posts or would have realized the process (smacks hand to forehead).
