Relatively few dbx 4BX dynamic range expanders were ever sold, but these units are still available online used from sites such as eBay. I couldn't find the hex codes listed for for the one I bought recently, but the original remote was provided with the unit, so I was able to learn them with my Pronto Pro 9600. Most available 4BX units are missing their remotes, so I'm passing along the hex codes for anyone who might need them.

Tested and verified working correctly in my Pronto Pro 9600

Power ON & Mute Toggle (NOTE:  a 4BX always powers on muted, so enter this code twice into any system power-up macro):
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 01F8

Power OFF:
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 01F8

Transition Level INCREASE (NOTE:  the transition level sets the hinge point between upward and downward dynamic range expansion, i.e. which input levels are made quieter and which are made louder):
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 01F8

Transition Level DECREASE:
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 01F8

Dynamic Range Expansion INCREASE (NOTE:  the expansion setting adjusts the amount of dynamic range expansion applied to the signal):
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00F9 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 01F8

Dynamic Range Expansion DECREASE:
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00F9 0006 00F9 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 01F8

Impact Restoration INCREASE (NOTE:  the impact setting adjusts the sharpening of transients, such as the crack of a drum stick, in the signal):
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 01F8
Impact Restoration DECREASE:
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 01F8

Volume INCREASE (NOTE:  volume adjusts the input gain level):
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 01F8

Volume DECREASE:
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 01F8

Bypass Toggle (NOTE:  the bypass toggle enables/disables 4BX signal processing):
0000 003A 0000 0008 0006 00B0 0006 00F9 0006 00F9 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 00B0 0006 01F8

Enjoy!

[Link: acetech54487.weebly.com]

I found a device where my given map is inverted.
When my map is correct, EFC 00000 produces IR hex 9D (OBC 157).
When the inverted map is correct, EFC 00000 produces IR hex 62 (OBC 98).

You can convert MY EFC to its inverted value using the following formula:
AltEFC = (199 - MY EFC) mod 256

In Excel, AltEFC = MOD(199 - MY EFC, 256)

These are the discrete power codes for The Magnetar UDP800/900 BluRay players.

Power off-
0000 006D 0022 0002 0155 00AA 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0040 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 05ED 0155 0055 0015 0E47

FWIW in the URC-MX900 CCF setup all the codes from the Oppo BDP-103 and BDP-203 work for all other of the Magnetar's commands.
