I have been given by Denon a FORMAT KASEIKYO 48 bit code for using Discrete inputs on the S302 DVD/ Receiver. Please can any one help me convert them to HEX or point me in the right direction.

Many thanks!

If you had done a forum search, you wouldn't have needed to wait for this answer.

The latest method is this program:

If you know how to use google well, then a google search is even easier and better than a forum search. I typed this in as a google search

+denon +kaseikyo +pronto

That means web pages will all three of words. One would expect any answer to your question to have all those words and any page with all those words to be related to your question. That search gave very good results.

The docs for the S302 binary codes are one of the rare Denon docs which give all the values in hex.

Easiest way to use this is to enter the second half (ignore the first 4 zero's) of Byte 3 through to the end of byte 5 into bits 21 though to 40 in Denon Hex Gen.

For example "ENTER" (key 59) should be entered as 1010 1000 0010010000 00
