So, I haven't done a projector in a while. This client wants to mount one to a ceiling beam and use a pull down screen. The beam is only 6' away (though the next beam is 12' away, if needed for 6' screen). He'd like around 6' wide pull down screen. Need a good bang for the buck model. A fair amount of daylight in the room, though drapes are there to help. Also, the unit needs to be all white..... Not sure if this is enough info to get some ideas?

You will probably need to go to the 12' beam in order to get the throw to work right for most home theater projectors.
You said 6ft wide screen. Do you mean 6ft "diagonal" or actual 6ft "wide" projection screen? One is a 72" diagonal and the other 82.6" diagonal.
What screen did you plan on using? You certainly want to use a grey base with negative gain for that room and size. The LS11000 mentioned above should do well.

Epson does offer a good quality projector, as does Sony and Sony Pro. Do you have a supplier that deals with a quality projector manufacturer?
I would ask if this is for home theater applications or for data projection, what ambient lighting is like, size of image, manual or motorized screen, control system, sources,
You get the idea. I'm confident my favorite supplier can get you a quote that will address those issues and more.
