Model 75XBR950H display just went batty on client. It's pixelating like crazy. Client said it went from fine to this.
Tried software update, factory reset......
I know it's not Sony's top model but it's in the middle/ upper area. Anyone have any similar issues with Sony's?
Looking at LGC3 as a replacement......

I had to do that Sony hard reset a Few times to bring one back. Now it's over my fireplace lol. (You're talking about the 30 second power button deal, correct?)

ALL electronics will die once in awhile. That's the nature of the beast.
Defect rates are also much higher with every brand, than they were 20 years ago (or even 10 years for that matter).

Why are you replacing the TV with an OLED?
Some notes =
1) That Sony can output over 1100cd/m in a 10% window. In other words, it's pretty bright. That LGC3 will NOT get that bright. You need to talk to the customer about this, some people equate picture quality with brightness and nothing else. Those simple minded people would be very disappointed with that change.
2) That Sony uses a VA panel. So the off-axis viewing wasn't that great. The OLED will do a lot better job of off-axis viewing.

Lots of little differences between the 2 technologies. The best just depends on what their viewing habits are and the room it's going to be used in.
