I wondering who out there does 700T's in their installs. I have a client file I would like someone to look at and evaluate it. I am definately no newbie to programming, but I would like someone elses thought on the layout and control design. I want to make sure a total boob could navigate though it, know what is going on, and not feel lost. If you are interested in looking at the file, let me know, and I will e-mail it to you. Or you can e-mail me. Thanks in advance for your help, JJP [email protected]

We used to do a bunch of 'em. A pretty reliable remote, and the customers we supplied with this product still use it and love it. It's been eclipsed by just about all the other remotes on the market in terms of cost vs. performance, but that is to be expected for a 5 to 8 year old product. It's bigger and brighter than all the other remotes under discussion here, and that is a plus with some users.
We used a variant of the default progarmming for most of our systems, and users seemed to find that easy to use. You can email me yours if you like, and I can let you know if there's anything I could suggest that might make yours easier to use.

I have also used the 700t. I liked it actually, and RTI makes some good programming stuff and worked well. But as theaterworks mentioned, it IS pretty outdated, but still very functional.

I've programmed a few 700ts and loved programming them. All the customers have really liked them as well. The programming is very flexible and open, the screen is huge and bright, has an rf extender that works great. But, the screen is monochrome. That sucks for something that expensive. Otherwise, excellent remote. -joe

Anyone have any RF issues with the TCM-3RF? And if so, what did you do to remedy them?
On the current setup I'm doing, everything seems to work fine, then all of the sudden, it seems the TCM-3RF no longer sees the remote. It was working fine until the "Low Battery" warning popped up. I put the remote on charge for roughly half an hour, then tried to test something, and the remote would not transmit anything. I've tried re-orienting the TCM-3 antenna with very little success.
I re-downloaded the file, and it started to work. Very wierd.
I don't want to have a pissed off client, especially one that's 150 miles away, developes this problem, then demands me there yesterday to fix it.
I welcome any suggestions here.
Thanks,
JJP
