I know xantech has the gatekeeper for current sensing, but you have to buy the master module and then buy their current sensor. Does anybody make a simple curent sensor with an ir learning capability. Something like: You teach it 2 random ir codes (one you will send for source on, one for source off) and a third code which is the actual toggle power code for the device. It then will only send the toggle power command based on which ir code you sent it and the power state. Does something like this exist, or am i dreaming. -joe

You could go with an ADI Ocelot and an add-on module that will do what you want, and TONS of other x-10 control, contact closure, etc. Check out www.appdig.com and look under Addicon.

Joe,
To get more problem solving ideas, try posting the problem (type of equipment/remote & what you want it to do).
