I just clicked and it went right through... wierd...
He took it to school with him, so I can't quote it directly, but it was one of these new common core wishy-washy poorly worded questions with an unclear diagram/picture.
"The algebra tiles in this diagram represent an algebraic expression. Write it in its simple form as well as in factored form."
I'm pretty sure the answers are 4x + 6 and 2 (2x + 3), but I will have to wait until he gets home to find out.
If they had discussed (or even seen and played with) 'algebra tiles' in class, I would get it, but he swears he's never seen or heard of them before.
