Hi Daniel,

Just wondering how you managed to generate the discrete power codes from seeing the toggle code.

Good to hear, thanks for confirming!

As for how they were made, I modified the standard power code (command 12) to commands 46 and 47, which is always Sony's discrete on and off (if the device supports discretes to begin with).

Does this unit work on Sony DVD codes or is there a new set of "Blu-ray codes"?

Would you happen to have all the codes for the BDP-S1?
a CCF would be really nice.

I tried to learn all the codes into TSU9600, but none of them works. Could be the carrier frequency mismatch.

Thanx

We couldn't get the on code above to hit every time today using a Crestron system. From the rear input or an emitter. Hit pretty solid the second time every time though. We had to leave it like that and the client was OK with it.

Had to give it a 3 second duration to get it to work like that.

The Off worked every time

Anyone else have troubles with these?

It sucks that only Power turns the unit on from the remote (or front face)!

Since both the on and the off are based on exactly the same code and timeing... it could be an issue with the unit. I hate to say it, but some of Sony's DVD players have a history of poor/no/flakey discrete code support.

Daniel's code, so far, has worked for me every time, on and off.
