Hi,
I see in the task manager of my win10 pro pc an entry:

ProntoDataService(32 Bit) running that takes RAM.
Do I still need it or can I deactivate it ?

Regards,
Fischi

Stop the service and then run PEP2 or PEP3 and see the disaster that happens.

In short, if you do disable that service, you can't do anything with managing IR codes.
