Hi,
I'm trying here to make the wi-fi connnection of the Pronto TSU9600 to work in standalone (ad-hoc) mode, buy I'm having no success.
I have experience with computer networks, but I'm really new with this remote. I'm just trying to make and ad-hoc network with the control (TSU9600) an extender (RSX9400) and a computer with the PadOne software installed.
I can notice that this network isn't ok. A can set the IPs and click to connect my PC with the "Pronto Network" that appears as available wi-fi connection, but Windows says that this network isn't indentifiable and without any access.
I'm starting to suspect that this ad-hoc way won't work and I'll really have to put an access point in this network.
Any ideas?

You cannot use Standalone mode to work with PadOne. You will must configure as Network mode. That means your RFX9400 will need to either be wired to router or communicating wireless with a router/wap. See this thread please. [Link: remotecentral.com]
