I have searched the internet high and low and I can't seem to find any information on getting any Universal Remote to work with the DirecTV HR24. Has anyone had any success getting their universal remote working with DirecTV DVRs? I am specifically looking to get URC RFS200 setup working with a DirecTV HR24-500 SAT Receiver. |

The majority of RF universal remotes, like the RF20 are IR only controlling remotes, but use their own rf frequency to do it from afar. The hr24 has to be in IR mode, set to default IR codest 00001. Then SAT code 173 in the RF20 will control it.
