Is it possible to in any way marry these two devices?
Philips Prestigo SRU8112/27 Remote
and
Philips Blue-ray 3010

Code? update? Vulcan Death Grip?

Both were Christmas gifts with the intention they would work together, NOT!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help

I have no direct experience with either of those, but the SRU8112 is a learning remote, so at minimum it should be able to learn the codes from the Blu-ray's original remote.

Thanks Dan,
Unfortunately I do not have the OEM remote. I am not sure which truck this fell out the back of, for my wife to pick up. But no remote and no books. The Universal remote however is in original packaging.

Hmm - I assume you've done a code search? Because if that fails, then I'm afraid I can't suggest anything.
