Can you still order a 1080 that will work with Total Control 1.0? The stock photo of current 1080's seems to indicate they have 2.0 and above firmware installed, thus the question. I have a request in on the Marketplace if anyone has one for sale.

For anyone who reads this, I reached out to URC tech support and they said new 1080's will work with TC 1.0 as long as they haven't been installed in a 2.0 or 3.0 system.

Thanks,

Bugman

I have some 1080s for sale ($150).  They did come out of a 2.0 system.  I can see if I can load a 1.0 file into one to see if it will take the firmware.  I have never tried to downgrade.  I am curious though, do you have some hardware limitations keeping you from upgrading or do you just have older software and cannot update?  I will let you know either way if I can get one to downgrade.

Yeah, stuck with the older software. I doubt you can roll them back, at least according to tech support. If you have new ones, they would work fine. Go figure, but if you can get it done I'm interested.

i was able to downgrade my office TRC1080 remote just now. But I believe it started life as a 1.0 remote, so not sure if a new one can do that. if i make it to the warehouse i'll grab a new one and see if it can be downgraded

edit: i lied. the download went through, but the remote is still on new firmware.
