I have a setup where I need to take 3 IR cables upto 50 feet in distance. I am planning to buy a mono cable to extend the IR from MRX-1 to distance of 50 ft.

After 50 ft of cable I am planning to keep an IR Flood emitter. Two questions here

1) Does using a flood after 50 ft length reduce the IR strength
2) do i use stereo? not sure if yes or no.

Big help needed. I need to take 3 cables of 50 feet. How can I make use of only one cable and achieve that? I heard using ethernet cable etc etc. How do i connect the ethernet cable to 3 different ports of mrx-1?

Use CAT5, I prefer STP. Solder and heat shrink skills, solder and heat shrink; really. You've got 8 conductors in CAT5. I don't know what you mean by 'flood emitter' but you need 6 conductors to make 3 emitters work. Leaves you an extra pair just for fun in the future. You could also use a cross-connect block on each end. Punch down cat-5 on one side and emitter cable on the other, although I'm not a big fan of punching down stranded cable (which most emitters are).

Great. now i realize i need to cut the cable and use the cat 5 cable.

Flood IR is another marketing name for high output IR. (My example would be keeping a ir emitter in the cieling and it would control a fan which is 15 feet away).

I was wondering if the IR capacity reduces based on length. But looks like there are people who have done 100ft. Let me try that with solder. Thanks.
