I have brand new MX-1200 and MRF-260. All AV components are in a cabinet with wooden door. MX-1200 is programmed to use both IR and RF. But it's only working on IR. RF is not working. I did start with id=0 and eventually set it up with id=1. Now when I press any button on the remote, light blinks on MRF-260 as if it's listening right. and the IR emitters blink which indicates the signal is getting out. But none of the AV components are responding to them. I thought MRF-260 is faulty and got a new one.. same problem with that one too. I did try different positions and away from AV components to see if there was any interference but the red light on MRF-260 doesn't blink unless the remote is pressed. So looks like interference is not a problem here. would appreciate any suggestions

Have you tried holding the emitter away from the device to make sure that it is not an emitter positioning issue? Sometimes a position slightly offset from the receiver is better than directly on top of the IR receiver on your device. You could also try using the variable IR outputs and adjust the output if this is your problem.
Although I don't believe this is related to your issue I would definitely recommending addressing each device to a specific IR port in CCP if you have not done so already. It is also a little easier to debug this way because you can see that you are sending signals to the correct device.

I just replaced an MRF260 installed by a previous installation company with a MRF-350. I never sell the MRF260. Typically the issue is RF intereference caused by being too close to the equipment, but in this case, no interference was detected but the RF signal was incredibly buggy. Replaced with the MRF-350 and all issues vanished.

Thanks for the replies. I will try using direct IRs and if it doesn't work, will consider switching to 350.
