I have two adjacent rooms each containing a different model Panasonic plasma TV (TH58PZ800U and TH42PX80U). Both rooms are RF controlled by the same MX900 remote using an MRF350 in one room and a MRF300 in the other. I have assigned different addresses to the MRF's and one line on each MRF to a TV. Everything works fine except when I hit power off on one of the TV's it turns both TV's off. I believe I have everything set up right and can't get it to stop. Any ideas?

Here are a few more details that may be helpful:

- The MRF350 controls:
- Panasonic TH58PZ800U
- Motorola DCH6416 DVR
- Sony PS3 via ir4bt
- Onkyo TX-SR502

- The MRF300 controls:
- Panasonic TH42PX80U
- Sony DVD Player

- I have an HDMI splitter set up from the Motorola DVR that feeds an HDMI signal to both TV's.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts. I am happy to answer any questions about my set-up or programming that may help.

different addresses on the Rf base stations, but how did you assign two addresses to one remote?
why have a nice system if you cant operate it, program the remote the right way the FIRST time!

Yes, the base stations are both set to different addresses and I have the same assignments made in the mx900 software.

cb1....The mx900 software allows you to command multiple base stations with one remote via addressing assignments.

Do the TV's have HDMI Control turned on? If so, turning one off may cause the other to turn off.

Try this: Turn both TV's on. Unplug the HDMI cable that goes from the splitter to one of the TV's, and then use the remote to turn the other TV off. If the TV that you've disconnected from the splitter stays on, then the problem is caused by the HDMI Control signal being passed from one TV to the other, via the splitter.

See if you can go into the TV's menu system and turn "HDMI Control" off.

You are a genius. That worked. I turned off Viera Link in my TV's menu(didn't know it was on originally) and the issue is solved. It was indeed the HDMI Control signal being passed through the splitter. Thank you for your help.
