I recently purchased the MX-900 and have started to program it. I have setup my SA 8300HD from URC's IR Database, but I do not see entries for all the DVR functions (i.e. the DVR button, list recordings, list scheduled recordings, etc). Can anyone point me to where I can find this information?

Thanks.

I have that box, and the preprogrammed codes by URC should include a "List" function. If you hit that button it will take you to the dvr menu, from the menu you can navigate using the controls also preprogrammed and the a, b, c buttons. Let me know if that helps, if not I might have other codes u can use.

The database worked fine for my MX-900 and the 8300HD... also had Day +/- commands not on my original remote.

In AZ, you need to learn:

1) "menu" to "Settings" (pre-programmed to "Guide")
2) "Enter" to "Enter" (pre-programmed to "HD Zoom")
Manuals?! We don't need no stinking manuals! a.. er..

Here in Buffalo NY, "Menu" and "Guide" do the same thing, but they do that on the original TW remotes too.

Since pressing either one doesn't get you into the program guide, I use "menu" to bring up the initial menu and then make a "menu-enter" macro on "guide" to make the "guide" button automatically bring up the program guide.

"Enter" is the same as "select" (center button), so the ENT button takes the "#" function, which is the box's aspect button on the original remotes.

Although I'll never use the box's aspect switcher, it makes letterboxed SD look terrible. Matter of fact, don't use anything other than "Auto" or "Native" mode because it has the worst scalers I've ever seen.
LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!

Here in Toronto:

Guide = Guide
Menu = Guide
Settings = Setup Menu
List = Recordings
# = Enter = Zoom
Select/OK = Select/OK (does nothing else)
