I'm about to set up my home theater with my Nevo Q50 along with the NevoConnect NC-50. With the NC-50 I would like to use 3.5mm cables directly to my CE devices that have an IR input. Do I use stereo or mono cable plugs? For example, with the Oppo BDP-83, the manual says:
Tip: +5V
Ring: IR signal
Sleeve: Common ground
I can only assume that it would require a stereo plug for the above to work. I have also read in various forums that a mono plug is needed. Which one?
Any help greatly appreciated.
