As best as I can determine, like the WMC remotes, the xbox is bit toggle. Until I learned the codes on my own, and programmed using the bit toggle command, the control was intermittent. If you find the menus jump around randomly while you're trying to navigate, this is your problem.

Additionally, I found that if you use the "discrete" power commands, they may work but they may be backwards. For example, the "power on" command could work the first time you use it, but if you turn the system off using the button on the front of the system or from the game controller it will flip the discretes. The next time you go to turn the system off from the remote you would have to use the "power off" command. I just made sure the power would only be turned on and off from the remote, and it kept everything copacetic.
