Let's see - I requested this to Nevo in 2007, again in 2008, and again in 2009.
Your incorrect about how the software changes. The way the software changes is when people all chime in, hence the reason for the post. I have been doing this for a long time and know that they will only put something like that in development if it's a) cost effective and b) enough people complain. Obviously, my complaints have not been enough.

Posting suggestions here is great but does nothing to get new things implemented in software.

Also please realize that it takes time for good software to be developed.
