The purpose of this website is to help people. And people were helping you. YOU are not authorized to have the Nevo software. The remote that you were given is a protected product and whomever sold or gave you that program has done so illegally. If you want a DIY product and DIY support on this site then go get yourself a Harmony or entry level Universal Remote.
I know you feel this isn't fair but then again the world isn't fair. When you bought your computer to did complain to Apple or Microsoft that they didn't give you the source code so you could tinker?
