That is correct.
So long as the device has a UPnP server the Nevo should see it. IE all bits have to be UPnP compliant with either a functioning Server or Player aspect to them.
The SL has long been superseded. You would be much better off with a S70. I do not recommend using a SL for this job. May people have and still do us a SL for this but the S70 does a much better job.
