has anyone mentioned that you can connect the video sensor to the DIGITAL AUDIO port of you devices . . .?
usually works pretty well on cable boxes.

on cable boxes, i get a green light the entire time if i connect directly to composite output. doesnt matter if its on or off.
but if i connect it to digital coax audio, it works perfectly.
no green light when its off, green light when its on.

then i just tell the software . .
for watch cable:
If Power Is
ON: Do Nothing
Off: Send Cable Power Command

the opposite for All Off
