Did you also do the firmware upgrade? You might have wi-fi on? You have to change it in NevoStudio and then download. Carl is getting some exceptional battery performance, which I have not seen.
You also may want to review your battery saving settings. Turn screen off after 1 minute and let the Nevo sleep after 5 minutes.
