Yep. I use macros to load the changer slots. Disc explorer is not needed in any way. I have not even seen the disc explorer feature. I never even messed with it. My changers have been controlled via my Pronto's since day one.

I have updated download links I am going to post here tonight. I had to add an additional link and jump action to each of the 1200 macros for my DVD changers. Man my eyes are going wiggy after updating all that. Links will be posted here shortly.
