It seems that they make software for this exact purpose, to convert your tablet PC into a workable remote control. I am curious as to how the IR will operate and will be certain to find out. Tablet PC's like the Viewsonic Aipanel v150 are under $1000 and have a 15 inch screen. Combine the price with the screen size and the above mentioned software and you not only have a killer remote but, money left over from NOT buying the ipronto.
