I heard from a bird that Philips halted production
of iPronto's and updates to it as well due to
poor sales of the iPronto. Not enough ROI and
high repair/replacement fees. I wasn't aware
this was "new information". The phase out was
put in motion long ago.
Well, what did they expect about such a "high-pricing" product?
And even if they didn't get their development costs back (negative ROI) they should official inform all users on their poor website that the product will end of live in 200x?!
And finally put all the sourcecodes free for download ....
