I have just finished programming my Marantz 5000i for my PT-AE1000U.

I used Pronto IR Utilities, by DRG to generate all 256 possible codes for panasonic2 128.72 (I had to manually modify the panasonic string definitions for this new panasonic2 code set.). I then loaded this file into my remote using Tonto, by Stewert Allen and tried all combinations. I can confirm that 62 and 63 work for On and Off. I could not find any discretes for selecting a unique input. Therefore I programed the projector to use function keys to select unique inputs. From there you can program a sequence of an appropriate number of input commands separated by 100msec delays to get to the other inputs.

Note that to turn the projector off you need to program the sequence: Off, delay 100 msec, and Enter.

There are a few other useful discrete commands, and when I get a little time I will post a CCF file with them all, plus my macros, probably in a couple weeks.

Good luck,
