Thanks Springs. I will try them when I get home from
out of town. On this AE1000U, the remote has 3 function
keys that you can use that coordinate with 3 function
settings on the AE1000U menu screen. You can set the
functions on the menu to HDMI 1/2, Comp 1/2, etc and use
the function keys on the remote to switch to those inputs.
I figure if you can discretely select those inputs on
the function screen, there should be discrete codes for
each.

Just to bump, I have done several ae1000u projectors, using an AV reciever for HDMI switching.(to get around the no discrete input situation) Did this 3 function button work for setting up 3 discrete input codes?

I am putting in the ae2000u next week and wondered if the on/off discretes posted earlier in this thread have been tested for this unit?

I still do not understand Panasonic putting out a projector with no discretes WTF?
