I'd like to get in on this conversation. I just installed a PT-AE1000U and although I love the picture I'm frustrated by not being able to find dicrete on and off. As well I'd like to know how I can switch inputs directly without having to go through the list. I use a Pronto TSU3000. I noticed in the thread a comment about using a variable to track the status of say on or off. I have never done this so any help on this would be great.
