Shift4, You can also use any Dish remote control to program the RTI. I keep one in my bag just for this purpose. It is very easy to change the Dish remote control code back and forth between my choice of codes 1 through 17, (just in cases where you have more than one Dish receiver in the house) and wish to have them not interfere with each other.
