I must say that I agree with the cedia nonsense... I have been installing for as long as I could drive a car, and we do full custom design and installs, and none of us are "CEDIA" certified.
An installer has it in his, or her blood... and has nothing to do with being certified or not. To tell you the truth, it would make no difference to my customers or anyone else for that matter, what really matters is if your reputable and do quality work, also someone who has been in the game, and paid thier dues.
