Here's a funny story that happened recently. My brother and I (From Illinois) were in Indianapolis and we had to affix something to something else, I don't know. So we go to the local WalMart. We find our things and some super glue and went to check out.

An older lady starts to register our things and then when she gets to the super glue she yells "CHECK!" So while we're waiting there for a minute for a manager to come over we said "what's the CHECK! for?" She says in a good 'ol southern drawl (you would have thought she was from the deepest regions of Kentucky)
"Gotta git cleeered fer the soooper glue"
We said "what's that about?"
She said... "Fer the Sniffers"
Of course we were like. OOOOOOhhh and then WHAT? That's ridiculous!
We said "Is that the policy everywhere in Indiana?"
She said "Yep" At least at all the WalMarts"
So I say " I have never seen that policy anywhere in Illinois ever."
She pauses, "Well, I guess you don't have as many glue sniffers in Illinois"

All we could do is laugh.

The really weird part is that we could have walked for two minutes to the next store over and bought every kind of soooper glue, contact cement, paint thinner, hair spray, pvc glue, you name it..... all with no CHECK!
So how does that keep Indiana "Glue Sniffer Free?" Do you think the sniffers have 'em figured out? Oh yeah, one other thing, I had to enter my name, birthday, and sign for the glue. I guess that will put me on some glue sniffin' watch list if ever I get myself arrested for sniffin' glue and then I won't be able to sniff with Wal Mart products unless I give somebody elses name and birthday. What a kooky policy.
