Just watched an episode of "Most Extreme" Animals. A Top ten of the animals that survive the most incredible living conditions.

Among them are the Polar bear that can sleep for 6 months without eating, drinking, or going to the bathroom.

The Camel that can walk through a hot desert for eight days and then drink 21 gallons of water in two minutes!

The penquin that breeds on a barren frozen plain without eating for weeks while balancing an egg on its toes. ( There's nothing to build a nest out of) Oh yeah, that's the male penguin that does the incubating.

The cockaroach that can survive 200 times the radiation that we can, survive poisons of all kinds.

But by far. The most amazing one was the "water bear"
It can survive no food or water for years. (One reasercher revived one after 120 years) Just add water.

They can be frozen, they can even resist liquid nitrogen, Thay can survive 300 degree water. They can even survive the vaccuum of space!!!

And these aren't some single cell blobs either. They really do walk like a bear. They have eyes, legs, claws and I'll be darned if they aren't cute. (no fur though)

If they have no water for a period , they retract their legs turtle style and basically shut themselves off. When the water comes back they turn on again.

All I can say is FREAKY!! One other thing, they are everywhere. They like moss a lot so go check em out.
