There's talk here in Memphis that our existing Bass Pro Shop which is in an old Wal-Mart may be moving to the Pyramid in Memphis. ()
This would be big news since this relatively new building (~10 yrs) which still hasn't been paid for was the home of U of M basketball and was built to house a pro B-ball team. Of course, the fact that it wasn't brand spanking new meant that there was no way it would be good enough for the Memphis Grizzlies so we had to spend an additional $250 mil on another new arena. The Pyramid now sits empty and would be a good use for a Bass Pro shop but I'm thinking it would dwarf their existing building in Springfield, MO which is freaking H U G E!!!
