I was just wondering what is used to control DVD's. I have a Pioneer dv333. Are the hard keys used for transport or for Menu?

I guess the hard keys can be used to navagate the dvd menu and the center key selects. Then are the transport keys on the LCD?

Also, is the MX-1000 ready for 'prime time" yet? Seems as though people do not like the software, etc.
